Perth · Full moon cacao ceremony · Monthly

Put it down. Walk out lighter.

Ceremonial cacao, gentle breath, an hour of live sound and original songs on voice and guitar. Two and a half hours on a mat, held the whole way.

Every full moon, Saturday nightDoors 6.30 pmEnergy Centre Yoga, HighgateLimited to 55 spaces

How the night works

Four parts. You do not need to know anything before you arrive.

Cacao

A warm cup of ceremonial cacao. It brings you down out of the head and into the chest.

Breath

Gentle and restorative. You lie down and follow along. You will not be pushed.

Live sound

An hour of layered live sound: gong, crystal bowls, drum and voice moving around the room.

Songs

Thirty minutes of original songs, live, no backing. This is where it all lands.

Your questions

What actually happens on the night?

You arrive, find a mat and settle. We open with cacao and a short circle, move into gentle breath, then you lie down for an hour of live sound. The night closes with original songs on voice and guitar, then tea and connection.

I’ve never done anything like this. Is that okay?

Yes. Roughly half the room each month is there for the first time. You are guided through every step, and there is nothing to get right.

What is ceremonial cacao?

Pure cacao, prepared as a warm drink. It is gentle, earthy and grounding. It contains theobromine, a mild natural stimulant, so it warms the body without the edge of coffee.

Can I come on my own?

Most people do. You will be held from the moment you walk in, and many first-timers leave with a few new faces they look forward to seeing next time.

Do I have to talk or share?

No. There is a short opening circle and you can simply listen. Everything else happens on your own mat, eyes closed.

Do I need to be spiritual, flexible or able to meditate?

None of that. If you can lie down and breathe, you can do this.

What will I feel?

There’s no right way for it to go. Some nights are big, some are quiet, and the quiet ones often land in the days after. People most often say they leave lighter, clearer and more themselves.

What if I get emotional?

That is welcome. Tears, laughter and nothing at all are all part of the night. The room is held, and nobody will fix you or watch you.

Is this for men too?

Yes. Many people value a gentle space held by the masculine. Men come on their own, with partners and with mates.

Who should not drink cacao?

If you are pregnant, breastfeeding, on prescribed medication (especially antidepressants or heart medication) or have a heart condition, please read the notes at lukekalani.com/plantallies and message Luke before booking.

When is the next one?

Sacred Heart Awakening is held every full moon, on the closest Saturday night. The next date is at the top of this page.

What time does it finish?

The circle closes at 9 pm. Stay for tea and connection until 10 pm, or head straight home if you prefer.

What if I can’t make it?

Can’t make it? Change to another date up to 24 hours before, or pass your ticket to a friend any time by updating the name on your order. We prepare cacao fresh for each ceremony, so no-shows can’t be transferred.

“Thank you from deep in my heart centre for last night Luke. I didn’t realise how much I needed it. I did tell you I came for self care but wowwww.

Thank you for the hug, I needed that to release those tears as they were stuck inside.”

Mel · Came for self care

“What a beautiful night. Last night would have to be the best ever you have ever done, so powerful!!! I brought 7 of my girlfriends along, 6 hadn’t done sound healing before. Sitting with them in a circle afterwards to share their journey was so powerful, so much love, joy and emotion. So thank you from the bottom of my heart for your gift.”

Kylie · Brought seven friends

“Last night was so beautiful, thank you thank you thank you. I’ve never experienced sound healing in that way. Music is so so important to me, I feel it in the deepest parts of my soul. Your voice is so powerful and so beautiful, it was incredible to receive.

The last section when you jumped on the guitar is when I felt a huge release, it hit me so hard I don’t even know how to describe.”

Rebecca · First sound healing

“Just wanted to express my gratitude for last night’s cacao journey. It was truly exactly what I needed, despite feeling some resistance to make it there, I’m SO glad that I did. Looking forward to attending more of your events in the future.”

Kristin · Cacao ceremony

“Such an amazing space last night Luke. I felt so wrapped up in a warm bubble of golden love and light and just floated out of there. Thank you for you.”

Tash · Ceremony guest

“Can’t thank you enough for last night mate, was a special night for us, to show our kids another way of being in this world. From the alcohol fuelled celebrations of my brother’s wedding, to the inward celebration and healing of ceremony was profound for our family. Forever grateful to you, for you, and of your amazing talent my man.”

Nick · Came with his family

“I felt called to send feedback. Thank you so much for Saturday. I absolutely loved it and recalibrated. Loved the journey.

The pinnacle was your voice. When you started singing I completely “cracked” and the release was overdue and freeing. Looking forward to the next spiritual realignment.”

Chantal · Ceremony guest

“Massive (and long!) appreciation message from the girl who arrived late due to saging my house. Wow, just wow. Last night was one of the most deeply moving and profound experiences of my life. I have never felt so safe and able to release what no longer serves me and call in to my life what I deeply desire.

I have done many ceremonies, sound healing and releasing rituals in the past and none of them come close to what I experienced last night. Your voice and music spoke to me at a cellular level and I was able to receive it all in a way that I haven’t experienced before.”

Emma · Ceremony guest

“Brother, first of all thank you so so very much for sharing your gifts last night and welcoming me into the space as a guest. It was by far the best and most powerful sound healing journey I’ve ever been blessed to take part in. The way it was conducted was done masterfully. Absolute genius.

My heart is bursting wide open and felt so much energy shift, even shed a few tears which was beautiful and profound, much needed. I already can’t wait for the next one, hearing your voice and music is incredibly healing.

I know there’s no rewinding time but if I could live it again I’d do it over and over again. Like floating in boundless space, without limitation. Pure unconditional love, reconnected back home, in the spirit of goodness.”

Luke · First time in the room

“Tonight my soul felt peace and love like I’ve never experienced. I am so grateful to have met you. Thank you for being a part of my healing journey.”

Danielle · Ceremony guest

Jenna · Returning guest

“There have been moments today where I just hear your beautiful chanting and the drum. Last night was so so good, I love that it’s such a different, special journey each time.”

Bec · Returning guest

“I could feel the energy going in, but it was like an unravelling as the music played. Feeling the reverberations of it still this morning.”

Kelly · Ceremony guest

“Just wanted to say thank you for tonight. It’s been an insane couple of weeks for me. I NEEDED the stillness, internal travel and most importantly the grounding.”

The moon

Why the full moon

At a full moon, the Sun and Moon sit on opposite sides of the sky and the Moon is at its brightest. Whatever has been building quietly comes up to the surface where you can see it.

The full moon asks what you are ready to see clearly, and what you are ready to put down.

Each month the Sun and Moon sit in a different pair of signs, so each ceremony carries its own theme. You will find this month’s theme, and what its two signs mean, on the booking page.

You lie down, you are held, and you let it land.

Luke Kalani, ceremonial artist and sound healer

Who holds the room

Born in the UK, now holding ceremony in Perth for eight years. He has held over 140 ceremonies, and more than 3,000 people have now sat in his spaces.

Luke is a ceremonial artist creating grounded spaces of sound healing and subtle plant medicine, where people journey inward, reconnect to themselves and transform.

His work is rooted in presence and the ability to hold a room with precision and humility. Peak experiences are never the aim. He creates environments where the nervous system can settle, and something deeper is given room to emerge.

Years of plant medicine, ceremony, artistry and sound shape a steady, intentional approach. Every space is designed with care, from the pacing of the night to the way people are guided through it.

His facilitation is direct, calm and deeply held. There is a safety in the way he works, so people can arrive as they are, without pressure.

Luke creates experiences that support clarity, presence, grounding and a genuine return to who they are.

Cacao opens the door. Breath walks you through it. Music carries you into the deeper inner realms.
